Getting stuck in Alabama was not what Danita and her husband had planned. In fact, it was just going to be a for a short business trip. Her production company had a gig for her in Alabama and then she would return home to Ohio. Did I mention she was 32 weeks pregnant? The babies were arrived early and changed all the plans. How could this happen and why would this happen? Danita and her husband began to learn that God has a plan for us, even if we do not see it. She began to understand Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”, much better than she had ever understood it.
“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
One thing became even more clear, God had a plan. His plan was much greater than she could ever had imagined. It also revealed the love that God has for us all. Sometimes God redirects our path so that we can see things a little more clearly.
